A Social Action Project has been implemented by HRH at Arunodhaya Hindu College

A Social Action Project has been implemented by HRH at Arunodhaya Hindu College in Nuwara Eliya District with the support of International United Women Federation (IUWF) by painting the desks and chairs of students they use for their study purpose.
The school has been a mother school for other 4 schools which have started after 2005 but Arunodhaya school is established in 1987 with the help of Saumiyamoorthy Thoondaman by handing over a tea factory which is not in use during that period to start a school for children in the area. So far there are improvements and developments taken place in the school but still there are rooms to increase it as well.
The students who took part the 25 hours leadership and skills development training from 23rd to 25th May, engaged in the Social Action Plan to mark their engagement with the society directly and to practice what they have learned as well.
